Complex Adaptive Systems
This is my entry for the Future Forward College's local Future's Fair. The call was for posters illustrating ONE of the FFC Key Ideas for education models. I chose Key Idea number 2: Complex Adaptive Systems. This image was achieved using image trace in Illustrator, then opting for Photographic Trace and Outlines. The outlines represent the mathematical computations Illustrator makes to come up with the traced image. The original image is of The Mandelbrot Set, which is an infinite and continuous manifestation of a simple calculation like f(c) = c^2 +m. The resulting pattern is a magical image that is infinitely repeated as you zoom in.
UPDATE: my poster was chosen to be among those displayed at the festival, which happened 9/23/16 on Wake Tech's main campus.
