Logo Design for The Business of Sewing
This start-up needed an entire branding package.  This business provides alterations, sewing classes, custom curtains, and custom fashion designs.  Below are the pages of the website, which you can view at http://www.thebusinessofsewing.com .

Home Page for The Business of Sewing
It was important to get all the options laid out in a visual format, including teasers like videos to keep the visitor engaged.  The entire site and all elements are completely responsive.

Classes Page for The Business of Sewing
Classes are offered for both adults and children.  I created an easy to navigate column layout with an Inquire-Button that made getting information simple and quick.

Alterations Page for The Business of Sewing
This professional seamstress has a wide range of skills and it was important to highlight the meaning of terms like "casual" and "formal" wear using images of her work.  Knowing your seamstress is important, so a bio and image of her working were appropriate here.

Custom Curtains Page for The Business of Sewing
Guiding the customer and defining what this seamstress does and does not do were just as important as educating the customer on the different types of curtain styles.

The About Page for The Business of Sewing
Making the about page focused on skills, equipment, and the studio, rather than the owner, was important to establish a sense of familiarity and to set the tone of the service.

Contact Page for The Business of Sewing
This studio is in the owner's home and she did not want to divulge her home address directly on the webpage.  So I created an interactive google map that placed the studio NEAR a well-known landmark.  This gives customers a clue on her location, but maintains some privacy.  Multiple opportunities for the visitor to click a button and make a connection make it more likely she will be contacted directly.

Mobile Layout for The Business of Sewing
The design switches to a mobile layout at tablet size and smaller, including an animated menu icon.
